Constructive, not complacent

We cover the region through solutions, initiatives and progress, without hiding difficulties. A constructive angle never justifies leaving out an inconvenient fact.

Verification before publication

Every fact, figure and quotation is checked against primary or reliable secondary sources before publication. When a claim cannot be verified, we say so or we leave it out. Each article states its level of verification and its date.

Sources and transparency

Articles cite their sources and link to them whenever possible. We distinguish reporting from analysis, and fact from opinion. Sponsored content, when it exists, is labelled clearly and kept separate from the newsroom.

Named authors and accountability

Articles are signed. Authors are accountable for their work, and readers can reach the newsroom to question, correct or complete a story through our corrections policy.

Independence

Editorial decisions belong to the newsroom alone. Advertising, partnerships and reader support fund the publication but never determine what we cover or how.

Independence and conflicts of interest

Feel Planet's founder also heads a regional tourism promotion organisation. The publication commits to keeping information and promotion clearly separate, to flagging any content connected with that role, and to correcting its mistakes publicly through our corrections page.
